STEAMFORGEAchievement Tracker
PrivacyUpdated 19 June 2026

SteamForge is a Steam achievement tracker. It is built entirely from data Steam already makes public through Valve’s official Steam Web API. This page explains what that means for your data.

What we collect

When you sign in, we use Steam’s OpenID — the same “Sign in through Steam” flow Steam provides. We never see or store your Steam password or any Steam credentials; we only receive your public SteamID.

For tracked profiles we read and store data that is already public on Steam: your display name, avatar, country (if set), owned games, achievement unlocks and their timestamps, and stats we derive from them (completion, rarity, grades).

What we do not do

We do not collect payment information, we do not run third-party advertising trackers, and we do not sell your data. The only cookie we set is a single sign-in session cookie that keeps you logged in.

Where the data comes from

All game and profile data comes from Valve’s Steam Web API. If your Steam profile or game details are set to private, that data is not available to us and will not appear here. The app runs on third-party cloud infrastructure that processes requests on our behalf.

Your data & removal

Because profiles are built from public Steam data, the most direct control is on Steam itself: setting your profile or game details to private stops us from reading new data.

To have your stored profile removed, get in touch via the contact link in the footer and we will delete it.
